The sauna entrepreneur is an entrepreneur in a positive business sector. Young adults are particularly interested in self-development and wellness activities, which the Pereensaaren sauna offers with its ice swimming facilities.

Sauna owners and friends, Leo Railevirta and Rasmus Saarni, the founders of the Pereensaaren Sauna, fell in love with sauna and especially ice swimming as children in Leo’s grandmother’s lakeside sauna.

The story of Pereensaaren Sauna began with their vision to create a communal and relaxing place on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi in Pirkkala. They wanted to offer a traditional Finnish sauna experience combined with modern comfort and beautiful lake views. The idea was to create a place where people could gather, relax and enjoy the peace of nature.

The construction and development of the area has been a long-term project, with a focus on quality, aesthetics and customer experience.
The aim has been to create a place that attracts both local residents and tourists to enjoy Finnish sauna culture and stunning scenery.

The possibility of ice swimming is an important attraction in the Pereensaaren sauna.

With a background in sport, Leo is an advocate of ice swimming and has enjoyed its restorative and energising effects since childhood. More than 90% of visitors to the Pereensaaren sauna take a dip in the ice-cold water. “In the ice water, the mind rarely gets gloomy,” says Leo in his relaxed and positive style. “Ice swimming is a way to promote wellbeing, especially in the Finnish tradition,” he continues. In summer, the cold effects
of ice water swimming can be enjoyed on our terrace in the Avantopool.

“At Pereensaaren Sauna, we strive for five-star quality in everything, starting from the smallest details. That’s how the overall image of the service is built. We strive to be the best sauna company in terms of quality, and if we achieve that status, we strive to keep it,” sums up the new sauna entrepreneur.

The Pereensaaren sauna has been carefully built down to the last detail to provide customers with an all-round luxury experience. Every interior element, choice of material and service reflects high quality and aesthetic beauty. Clients particularly appreciate the soothing and elegant atmosphere of the facilities, which blend with the natural landscape, creating a harmonious environment. “We strive to make a stay with us feel like a small break from everyday life and offer a moment of luxury – an unforgettable sauna experience where aesthetics, quality and comfort meet in perfect balance.”

While the Pereensaaren sauna particularly attracts young adults who value self-improvement, wellbeing and soothing experiences, its warm and communal atmosphere invites people from all backgrounds and age groups. The sauna offers everyone the opportunity to pause for a moment and enjoy the refreshing effects of nature and the sauna, bringing people together in a shared sense of relaxation.
